Responsible for the leadership of staff and functions in the Research, Knowledge Exchange and Commercialisation portfolio of the University of Hull and contributing to the design and delivery of the institution-wide strategy and policy that fall within the research and KE remit. I have a wide range of professional experience, spanning industrial research, technology start-up and higher education. Throughout my career, I have specialised in business development, research management and the commercialisation of technology and knowledge. Alongside my roles in strategic and operational management, I also have extensive experience of lecturing in research innovation, impact and business development to Masters degree students and academic staff at higher education institutions across the UK and internationally.I am a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and qualified PRINCE2 practitioner and hold an MBA from the Open University Business School.
