Key Responsibilities:• The safe operation of a CAT793F haul truck, hauling iron ore from the pits to the crusher or stockpiling on a paddock dump or tipping over a tip head.• Ensuring safe and efficient loading under the excavator or wheelie loader and transportation to its destination.• Attending daily prestart meetings.• Doing daily Take 5’s for the operation of Surface Mining Equipment as well as daily pre starts and fuelling of trucks.• Always adhering to priority rules on the haul road, ROM and in an AMA.• Having clear and efficient positive 2-way communication with other SME operators and personnel when required.• Using VIMS, CAS and the Fleet Management System correctly to ensure a safe workplace daily for everyone.
