He has been a Director in the statutory, independent and professional sectors for the past 15 years and has a demonstrable track record of achievement in developing services and supporting organisations through their workforce. He was Clinical Director for a large forensic service having been Clinical Director of a large adult directorate for 4 years previously. He continues to work as an advisor to a number of statutory and non statutory organisations and has delivered a number of national quality improvement programmes within acute/PICU and low secure services. He has significant experience as an Expert and Specialist Advisor with the CQC and has provided Clinical Expert support more recently.
