• Assist quality activities utilizing engineering background.• Identify required, gather and analyze data using • Support and manage issues through disciplined problem solving• Engage in advanced/complex problem solving using Six Sigma methods/tools• Apply Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and tools to new products and processes• Learn certification requirements and participate in audits• Apply quality risk assessment tools such as FMEAs and identify improved controls and poke- yokes• Interact with suppliers and customers as necessary to drive quality improvements• Assist in the design and improvement of manufacturing/production methods and control systems using new, existing, or modified machinery and equipment. Design tools and equipment as necessary.• Assist with Kaizen events by establishing course of action to accomplish task and/or project.• Regular contact with others outside the work group.• Introduce or recommend changes to work methods, safety measures, and labor organization.• Develop methods for controlling production costs and costs analysis.• Utilize knowledge and background to address Ergonomics/safety issues.• Know basic manufacturing operations and lean practices.

• Attend on-job training in CETP to learn required know how.• Lead and follow up HPTS.• Implement lean manufacturing after completion of CETP.• Improve manufacturing process and material flow in workplace.• Initiate and accomplish new product programs-develop concepts,make prototypes,hands on to production.• Optimize and assist daily department activities to ensure effective and completion of department objectives.• Perform technical work including preparation of design layout, specification engineering investigation and failure analysis.• Technical support for manufacturing production designs and quality development.• Provide engineering output with accuracy, correctness and meet to the division standard output, include engineering change request.• Perform root cause analysis on defective products using engineering principles and knowledge of manufacturing process. • Improve products design and manufacturing process, and reduce waste cost.
