I was funded to develop a new documentary on the 'never before seen short films' of the remarkable Scottish film-maker Bill Douglas - doing research, restoring/digitising the Standard 8mm films of Bill Douglas, writing a treatment and draft script, setting up and filming interviews with key figures from the film world and producing a 'taster' for the proposed final documentary. At this time, we are awaiting decisions on applications for completion funding.

I produced promo campaigns for Summer 2016 on Eurosport, the British Grasscourt Season, Wimbledon (the first time Eurosport have covered the event), Cycling and Superbikes.

I set-up 400Blows in 2000 to produce film and arts related documentaries. Have sold documentary projects to Channel 4, FilmFour and Sky Arts, as well as having them play at numerous film festivals around the world.Documentary projects include: a 6-part series called Film Fever, about film fans and their obsessions, made for daytime Channel 4; a full-length documentary on the film-maker Alan Clarke made for FilmFour; full-length documentaries on film-makers Bill Douglas and Derek Jarman made for Sky Arts; a filmed interview with the film-maker Terence Davies also made for Sky Arts and a series of short DVD extras for companies such as the British Film Institute and UFO Distribution (in Paris).

I produced promo campaigns for BES covering athletics, cycling, football, motorbikes, snooker, speedway, tennis and wintersports.

I produced promos for Discovery & Discovery CEEMEA across the range of Discovery channels.

I produced a series of 4 X 60 secs Top Gear promos for the world market along with numerous promos for Mipcom.

I produced/directed a full-length documentary on Parenting and produced/directed the pilot for a brand new online channel Accountancy TV.

I was a director making promos for both the BBC and UKTV across a wide range of channels.

2 of my independent documentary projects, on the film-makers Derek Jarman and Bill Douglas, were supported by the British Council at Film Festivals in Buenos Aires and Turin.
