As Director of Design at MHAworks, I am responsible for maintaining the highest quality of design and innovation within all studio projects and endeavors. Most of my time is spent facilitating and guiding the project designers through the conceptual design process. This included master planning, user group meetings, client presentations, space planning and skin and experience design.

As Creative Director at Collage Designworks, I lead research, development and prototyping in design at all scales.

As Design Director of BBH Design, I was responsible for maintaining the highest quality of design and innovation within all studio projects and endeavors. Most of my time was spent facilitating and guiding the project designers through the conceptual design process. This included master planning, user group meetings, client presentations, medical space planning and skin and experience design. As part of business development and the strategic management team, I was successful in growing and maintaining key client relationships and contributing to the growth of BBH Design since 2005, helping to set the firm’s direction and implement actions.

During my short time with Phillips, which is mainly an interior architecture firm, I was focused on new construction and complicated renovation.

Butz-Wilbern Ltd. offered me a consulting position after moving to North Carolina. My services extended from preliminary design through permit acquisition. I was responsible for engineering coordination, client consultation and management of the permitting process.

At Butz-Wilbern, I was involved in all phases of design and construction, allowing me to develop my skills in pursuit of becoming a registered architect. The majority of my time was spent creating construction drawings. However, I was regularly responsible for design development, construction administration, client consultation and public presentations.I find great pleasure in experimenting with new design tools and methods and because of this I was responsible for the majority of 3D modeling development at Butz-Wilbern. In addition, I served as the lead technical support for the office computer system. This involved the authoring of software standards and templates as well as staff training.
