I has been working as a geotechnical engineer since 2013 on projects involving concrete dams, embankment dams, and levees using both deterministic and risk-based methods. My experience includes analysis and design of drilled shaft and micropile deep foundations, MSE walls, and tieback walls. I have helped address landslide and slope stabilization challenges for clients as diverse as state departments of transportation, local municipalities, public utilities, and private landowners. My work with levees has also included rapid assessments of flood damage and design of emergency repairs. I also have broad experience developing and managing geotechnical investigation plans and laboratory testing programs to address clients’ unique design requirements.
