Product Design Lead Engineer• Strong proficiency in Product design with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Pro-Engineer) • Develop mechanical designs from initial concept through mass production • Top-Down design architectures and components for Plastic injection mold (Start and Mass Production mold), Die-Casting, Sheet metal and Consumable parts • Knowledge of tolerance analysis and electro-mechanical product design • Strong Knowledge of Design experience for Reliability (DFR), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Test (DFT) • Aggressive BOM cost targets and PLM(Product Lifecycle Management) • Knowledge of ISO13485 Medical Device Manufacturing • Engage with other members of cross-functional teams (Industrial designer, Hardware engineer, RF, Antenna, Manufacturing, Software, Quality Contol) to arrive at appropriate design tradeoffs • Interface with development and manufacturing partners in North America, Asia and Europe • Manage DFM(Design For Manufacturing) feedback from suppliers • Lead test failure analysis and solution validation during product development • Support field failure analysis and solution evaluation for product issues after launch
