Employed to investigate complex frauds

This was set up by Det Superintendent Stuart Dark in a response to the amount of foreign national offenders coming into the custody suites as we were unable to find out any criminal history. This resulted in agreements being set up with law enforcements outside the UK I order to obtain the information. I was employed as a Financial Investigator tasked with tracking down foreign national offenders who were in the U.K. I was involved in assisting a very high profile investigation into a missing child.

Employed as a Financial Investigator and Confiscatory to recovery proceeds from Crime. I was involved in several large complex investigations. Op Yuletide was an investigation into a £100 million investment fraud. Op Opaque which was an investigation into a Vietnamese Organised Crime Group involved in the production and supply of drugs in the UK and also abroad. As a result I gave evidence at the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey). I was also involved in the tracing of an armed robber suspect who was assisted in escaping from a prison van by armed suspects. As a result of my work he and his girlfriend were traced and arrested. I received a Commendation for this work. I was also involved in a drugs investigation which required me to travel to South Africa in order to interview two UK citizens detained in prison. I was the confiscator in a case in which drugs were smuggled into the U.K having been impregnated in vanish on doors.

Worked in the CID carrying out investigations into various allegations. I set up a Financial Investigations Section to recover criminal proceeds. I was also part of the response to the bombings at Edgware Road Tube Station in 2005 and ended up dealing with exhibits from victims at St Mary’s Hospital.

This involved investigating offences of robbery, burglary, serious assaults and murder. While working at this position I had to investigate the robbery on a elderly lady which resulted in her losing the use of her arm and suffering other serious injuries. I the arranged a collection that raised enough money to pay for the repair for her glasses damaged in the robbery and also took her out for a dinner during which she was presented with flowers and the rest of the money raised for her.

Carried patrol duties and investigating allegations

Employed to carry out security checks and investigations into allegations of crime. Due to the location the station was used by many VVIPs including Richard Branson, Duke of Westminster to include a few. Many of these require Police Escort of the station which would mean interaction with them. Also involved in security for some VVIPs when flying with the Queens Flight.

Part of a multi national Police unit tasked with the security of the NATO War HQ. I was a Squad Leader which meant I had to manage different nationalities who had different regulations. Also involved in the parade for the new NATO Commander.

Based at RAF Benson working as a Station Police Officer carrying out criminal investigations and station security. This involved carrying a live firearm while on duty. I was also involved in the training of the Police Dogs at the station which would mean wearing the protective suit and wait to be attacked.

Worked in the welfare section.

Carried out tasks in recording and allocation investigations submitted to the laboratory.

Tasked with answering emergency calls and responding to alarm activations.

Employed in the Central Cheque Fraud Squad then based at Rochester Road Police Station.
