No matter what we are working on, I’m always amazed by his brilliance and willingness to dive deep into work that may not be formally required of him. He is someone I absolutely trust to turn to for advice about issues with our shared clients, and clients that we may not share. Because of his role as a coordinator/associate, Andy has a deep knowledge about the inner workings of TSNE and our clients even if he has never worked with directly them. His thought leadership was critical to developing and implementing the coordinator pilot project. He came into a brand new role and ran with it, tackling the many challenges that came along during the pilot phase of the project. It would not have been possible to implement the project in the way we did without his support. In 2020, our team experienced a multitude of challenges - including staff who were not a great fit and a good deal of turnover. Andy’s sense of responsibility and dedication are what kept his portfolio afloat during some pretty turbulent times. He consistently goes above and beyond; taking on tasks that would otherwise not be his to complete, including working with the contracts team to develop language for an asset transfer agreement and managing vendor communications during a client construction project. Andy has been critical in developing standardized procedures for onboarding and offboarding clients. As our team has changed, he has also become a vital resource for training new staff. I joke that I am devastated that Andy is leaving for grad school, but in all seriousness we are losing someone who has tirelessly worked to improve TSNE and how we provide support to our clients and it’s going to be difficult to find a replacement who can live up to the high standards that Andy created for the coordinators and associates.
