Mr. Andy Lin is the Founding Partner of Loyal Valley Capital (LVC). Mr. Lin has employed a thematic, research driven strategy that is characterized by a top-down fundamental research process to find trends in the ongoing industry transformation in China. He is actively involved in the firm management, setting strategic directions, deal sourcing, chairing the investment committee and post-investment value creation. Under his leadership, the firm is trusted to manage capital on behalf of many overseas institutional investors including sovereign wealth funds, pensions, funds of funds, and family offices, as well as elite entrepreneurs and founders of China’s Fortune 500 enterprises.Mr. Lin is a serial entrepreneur and prior to founding LVC, was founder and CEO of China Universal Asset Management (CUAM), one of China’s largest asset manager with over US$70 billion assets under management by the time he left to establish LVC in 2015. Under Andy’s leadership, CUAM received over 100 industry awards including the Most Respected Fund Management Company, Best Management Team, and Best Investment Team.Mr. Lin received his MBA from Harvard Business School and has since established a China CEO course which is regularly attended by some of China’s top CEOs. He also holds an MA and BA in Economics from Fudan University. Mr. Lin has served as the Vice Chairman of China Asset Management Association and he sits on the boards of several Shanghai, New York, and Hong Kong listed companies.
