  ◦ Use a combination of python programming and Excel spreadsheet for the process optimization of the Hook-up assemblies, together with studying the mechanical tolerances of each component to design the assembly that enabled the reduction of tolerance from +/-175um to +/-65um. ◦ With Python programming, developed a tool that was used by PCC suppliers fabrication process optimization to study the correlation between KPIVs and KPOV and KPOV trends to work on critical parameters for process improvement. This enabled the PCC suppliers to reduce copper trace etching ( line width and space from 100um to 30um ) and it also helped to reduce parts tolerance and yield improvement. ◦ Adopted Data Visualization with Python for more refined process capability / improvement. Working with Data Science to achieve higher production yield and it's correlation to product design. ◦ Develop new design concept for assembly that uses material properties and statistical studies that allows tighter product registration that is more than half of the stack-up tolerances of the sum of all the parts. This low cost assembly process encompass a vision system that check and register the part registration that can use used for the downstream assembly process. ◦ Flexible / Printed Circuit Cable and Printed Circuit Cable Assembly design, process & product development, design for manufacturing assessment, supplier process capability development, develop new design guidelines and product workmanship standards. ◦ Collaborate work with IC designers to design a well fit IC that fits the Flexible Circuit Cable that can achieve very small package which delivers optimum signal integrity and cost efficiency. ◦ Perform DFM in collaboration with Seagate suppliers (manufacturing folks) for new product design. ◦ Lead team with pFMEA and dFMEA on all new products to ensure that the design can be manufactured with high production yield.
