I am the Manager of City Arts Creative Capital at the Wellington City Council, where I lead the development and delivery of arts and culture projects and programmes that enhance the city's vibrancy and identity. I have over 25 years of experience in the museum and art sector, with expertise in visioning and goal setting, business development and strategy, diversity and inclusion and accessibility and upholding Te Tiriti and values. I am passionate about creating opportunities for artists and communities to express their creativity and voice, and to celebrate their diversity and richness. I have a strong track record in building strategic partnerships and relationships with various stakeholders, both in relation to Te Papa, where I serve as a Board Trustee, and Te Manawa museum, where I was the CEO for nearly a decade as well as my current role. I also have a background in fine and studio arts, activism, street theatre and original composition, and Te reo Māori, which informs my approach and vision for city arts.
