Having worked in high integrity software and systems development for most of my career, I have been retraining over recent years to pursue my passions of sustainability and construction. After completing a MSc in Architectural Technology and Design at Leeds Beckett University in 2020, I have undertaken a further series of qualifications in Energy Assessment, including On Construction Domestic Energy Assessment, Domestic Energy Assessment, Retrofit Assessor and Retrofit Co-ordination. I launched the UK Energy Assessor brand and website in January 2021 with my daughter Jess, with whom I run the business. We've been providing PAS2035 Retrofit Assessment, Design and Co-ordination services for the past 12 months, focused mainly on energy efficiency retrofit of social housing.
