I have considerable experience in Kubernetes and Openshift environments, as well as, AppDev experience with Java development. I’ve spent considerable time over recent years aiding AppDev teams in on-boarding efforts onto OpenShift. Part of this experience involves immersion in DevOps best practices. Helping teams navigate a PolyGlot world, leveraging a CICD platform to deliver business critical assets to production environments.I’m also frequently involved with AppDev teams replacing monolithic applications with microservice alternatives. In our office there were 2 teams, one for Applications Support and the other for Applications Development. I managed the Applications Development team. We were primarily responsible for design, development and implementation of systems supporting Contact center operations, Warehouse operations and Finance. Our focus was on Order Management systems, Warehouse Management systems and financial systems.
