As captain, I utilized a "lead by example" approach to mentor and guide my teammates, as well as supporting my coach through strategy and recruitment.I led Denison men's tennis to an 80-16 record over four years and amassed an individual record of 161-37. I graduated as the all-time men's tennis leader in singles, doubles, and combined wins and helped my team to four straight NCAC championships after a 16 year drought, as well as a birth in the NCAA tournament round of 32, twice in the round of 16, and for the first time ever an Elite 8 appearance.

I created a community wellness event open to all students, faculty, and staff to encourage people to be physically active, be outside, and interact with others. During the second edition, I worked with Denison Athletics to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Title IX. I hosted the event three times and organized games for over 200 attendees, structured in a way that excited people of all levels and ages to join. I networked with administrative departments and partner organizations to secure $3,500 to fund meals for participants. I have further worked to ensure that this event will continue after my graduation.
