Worked with RR Bristol and Airbus Military ensuring requirements were understood and met. Developed a strategy for monitoring life usage in service of Air Tanker in conjunction with specialists from Critical Parts Lifing.• Lead small teams supporting product safety issues such as Red Tops and SAR’s to closure to ensure airworthiness regulations were met.• Worked closely with SCU’s in support of non-conformance driving in quality. Visited the facilities, and presented to staff on the impact of their work on product integrity. Developed strategies for retirement of non-conformance thus saving the cost of non-quality.• Advised new engine production on a wide range of technical and regulatory issues to ensure a quality product delivered on time.• Used technical knowledge to make key decisions on the acceptability of product before release to the customer.
