Andy has worked for 20 years in Japan & 13 years in Singapore. He has held C-level positions in management consulting, M&A, capital markets, wealth management businesses and start-ups. He is comfortable speaking to young entrepreneurs as he is advising top government officials. His extensive experience and network in Europe and Asia, regardless of sector, has allowed him to always add shareholder value in every business or activity he has been involved, whether as an advisor to startups, as CEO of publicly listed companies, as country representative on international business organisations or as a Board member of a local charity.With a management consultant background from Deloitte Consulting Group, he has founded and advised businesses between Asia & Europe in sectors including financial services, education, sport, IT, media, property, luxury products, food & beverage, healthcare, biotech and retail. During his time in Japan, Andy was elected the President of the British Chamber of Commerce for three terms and represented the United Kingdom on the Board of Governors of the European Business Council in Japan. He also represented UK interests as a member of numerous business committees in Japan which included multinational companies, think tanks and government officials. He was appointed an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen's Birthday Honours in 2011 for services to British business interests in Japan.During his career, Andy has been very active in volunteering with local communities. He helped organisations that focused on the homeless in Tokyo, fatally sick children in Japan and youth offenders in Singapore in his role as a Board Member of the Rotary Club of Singapore.More recently, he founded Hourvillage Pte Ltd in Singapore.
