BIS-NY is an international IB, K-12 educational environment based in NYC. During my time at BIS-NY I have developed and delivered curriculum for grades 6-8 in Individual and Societies, and grades 9-12 in Geography, Business Studies and Economies. I have also coordinated with external vendors to support the delivery of entrepreneurship workshops across the middle school, and developed and led on whole school initiatives in Entrepreneurship. Further roles include coaching the middle school Soccer and Basketball teams.

Throughout my time at Challney, I developed and delivered curriculum for Geography across the secondary school. During my first year of teaching, the school were awarded a rating of 'Outstanding' from ofsted. With Geography being a deep dive in their assessment, I was given the opportunity to demonstrate my approach to teaching and learning, and participate in conversations around the objectives of our department, and the strategies which were being implemented to reach these objectives. During my second year of teaching, I took on an additional role which involved leading on professional development sessions centered around the use of technology across the entire learning journey.
