I moved to Canada, attaining the relevent work permits. By agreement, HSL allowed me to continue in my role but now as a freelance contractor continuing to help clients scope their requirements, design collaborative audio visual systems, create floorplans, wiring diagrams and Bills of Materials to allow account managers to quote. Similarly, on PO, project manage the client (room prep, schedule, RAMS, training) and manage internal installation and touch panel programming engineering teams. During installation, the kick off meetings are now managed remotely via MS Teams which enables adjustment of engineering laptop audio DSP utilities whilst listening to the sound so configurations can be optimised live. Touch panel design and functionality is now finalised before attending site. Once on site, the testing and commissioning is completed by the software prgrammer to ensure functionality is as expected and the client is happy with the new system.

Video South were purchased by Hospital Services Limited and I continued in my role as Sales and Project Specialist helping clients scope their requirements, designing collaborative audio visual systems, creating floorplans, wiring diagrams and Bills of Materials to allow account managers to quote. On PO, project manage the client (room prep, schedule, RAMS, training) and internal installation and touch panel programming engineering teams. During installation, attend site to kick off and often set up the Extron/Clearone DSP audio mixers to ensure the microphones, speakers and mixes are setup appropriately and that the muting and echo cancellation performs as expected. Whilst on site I would check touch panel functionality, complete testing and commission to ensure functionaity was as expected. The client would then be introduced to the system though training and demonstration to ensure it met or exceeded the client's expectations.

My role is complex and broad reaching but on the whole can be summarised as encompassing sales, design, projects, training and support but focussed on delivering customised class leaving audio visual and full HD videoconferencing training, case conferencing and presentation solutions to customers within the NHS.
