As an Operations Manager, I have experience in Inbound from November 2011 to July 2012, in Inventory Control/Quality Assurance (ICQA) from July 2012 to September 2019, and in Outbound from October 2019 to June 2020. I was responsible for the day to day operation of a shift of up to 400 Associates in various paths in the Fulfillment Center (FC), data analysis and summary to support process improvement, and long term planning to promote a Quality-focused culture within the warehouse.From February 2019 to October 2019 I was a Talent Ambassador supporting Talent Acquisition sourcing L5 Area Manager and L6 Operations Manager candidates to staff fulfillment centers in the North America Network.I phone screened over 300 candidates and conducted on-site interviews for more than 280 candidates. I analyzed shipments of heavy/bulky items from 20 FCs across the US network to identify opportunities with shipping costs. This analysis identified significant opportunity in FCs shipping heavy items cross country, leading to a redistribution of product to minimize transport distance.I coordinated the introduction of Ship-in-Own-Container testing in the US network. This testing identifies product that can be shipped in the boxes we receive them in, leading to reduced costs in corrugate and transportation. This testing is now conducted in 23 US FCs.
