I was responsible for the day to day operation of a shift of up to 400 Associates in various paths in the Fulfillment Center (FC), data analysis and summary to support process improvement, and long term planning to promote a Quality-focused culture within the warehouse.From February 2019 to October 2019 I was a Talent Ambassador supporting Talent Acquisition sourcing L5 Area Manager and L6 Operations Manager candidates to staff fulfillment centers in the North America Network.I phone screened over 300 candidates and conducted on-site interviews for more than 280 candidates. I facilitated debriefs in person and over phone each week for fulfillment center interview events.Certified through the Bar Raiser program, specialized training in running interview debriefs, providing constructive feedback to fellow interviewers, and helping hiring managers make strong long-term hiring decisions for their team.I worked with the Stow team to develop a netted bin design to reduce defect injection and improve Amnesty performance in bagged items, and creation of a Universal Mod structure with included bins for all product types in 1 bay. This led to a 34% reduction in defects found during IRDR counts and 74% reduction in Amnesty generated.I created a weekly feedback system for associates creating quality errors in Receive and Stow processes, which led to a 75% improvement in quality defects over an 8 month period. This system also included a daily report that ensured associates knew their standing throughout the week and managers could provide coaching.I initiated and led twice-weekly Quality Review meetings with production managers to provide information on trends in defects, associate quality performance, and discuss up-coming quality and capacity challenges.
