After serving 4 years apprenticeship as mechanical engineer/machinst I started my career offshore with Baker Hughes Atlas traveling to various places over the world.I then moved on to Oceaneering starting as a trainee and progressing to Supervisor level at the age of 24. After some enjoyable years at Oceaneering I moved to Technip which really excelled my knowledge of subsea engineering/construction.After some years at Technip I decided to start my own company in the fishing industry, purchasing my own 10m trawler, then progressed to a 15m trawler fishing all round the UK gaining valuable knowledge of the uk coastline along the way. I lost my vessel to a fire in 2022, I could have went one or two ways, another vessel or branch back to the subsea sector, which leads me to where I am today.
