Key Responsibilities• Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts and reporting of variances against budgets, forecasts and prior periods. • Preparation of accounts pack and other papers in preparation for quarterly board/shareholder meetings • Driving the strategic planning process in partnership with the CEO, CMO and COO resulting in 3 year plans and budgets presented to the Board/Sharholders. Forecasts revised quarterly.• Risk identification and mitigation. QHSE planning and execution. Obtaining relevant insurance cover. • HR policy, recruitment, contracts, payroll, disciplinary procedures and performance management. Maintenance and improvement of all documentation. • Maintenance and improvement of financial controls and processes.• Treasury and daily cash management in multiple currencies. Implementing measures to mitigate foreign exchange risks including forward contracts and options. Securing external funding when required. • Managing a staff of 6 based in 3 countries tasked with the controlling, record keeping and reporting functions. Ensuring that staff are motivated, appraised and given space to develop systems and processes and also their individual skills.
