I envision a future where people know and support natural systems and processes. I am motivated by the belief that the more we can learn, educate, and reveal about the environment we live in, the more we will drive closed-loop systems thinking. To do this, I apply my training as a landscape architect to work spatially across scales, promote thriving communities (environmental and social), communicate innovative solutions effectively, and provoke discussions to reconnect people to our environment. I aspire to be a lifelong student, and am committed to learning about systems, people, the environment, art, and regenerative principles. My experience as a designer and technical team leader includes projects oriented towards green infrastructure, ecological restoration/mitigation, urban eco-design, and healing urban landscapes. I have contributed to re-creating habitat in the Great Lakes including multiple sites from Lake Huron to Lake Erie, and many of their associated tributaries. My green infrastructure experience includes re-designing an entire community college campus in Cincinnati to retrofitting a parking lot in Detroit to manage a 100-yr rainfall event.
