As the Global ManEx Standards Manager, I am responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining global standards within the Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) framework. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Diageo's manufacturing processes are optimised for efficiency, quality, and consistency across all regions and categories.Key ResponsibilitiesStandards Development and ImplementationDevelop comprehensive global standards for manufacturing processes.Implement these standards across all Diageo manufacturing sites to ensure uniformity and best practices.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.Collaborate with regional teams to tailor global standards to local needs while maintaining overall consistency.Training and SupportProvide training and support to regional teams on the new standards.Ensure that all relevant personnel are well-versed in the updated procedures and guidelines.Process ComplianceMonitor compliance with global standards through regular audits and assessments.Address any deviations from the standards promptly, working with local teams to implement corrective actions.Best Practice and ReportingFacilitate knowledge sharing and promote best practices across different regions.Prepare detailed reports on compliance status, improvement initiatives, and overall performance against set benchmarks.Present findings to senior leadership and recommend strategic actions based on data insights.

Global

Responsible for the implementation of Continuous Improvement techniques in packaging and production facilities in global markets, with a particular focus on India, ensuring that all initiatives are codified and follow the global standard. Sharing best practice and improving routes/techniques of communication so learnings can be shared throughout the business globally.Supporting Profit Improvement Projects, with a long term aim of in-market self-sufficiency through establishing processes and coaching to increase local capability.

Ensure the successful implementation of Brand Change and Capex projects without compromising the performance of current operations. Working closely with Production teams to input their functional needs into projects whilst also ensuring that changes are compliantly delivered to time and budget.

Responsibility of two production lines, and a team of 17 operators, including their development, H&S and well-being. Responsible for production efficiencies and producing orders to schedule within tight quality specifications of deluxe goods.
