Recruited the top students for National, leading to the formation of two new design teams in Atlanta.

Recruited to build an ASIC design team within a small privately held company. Faroudja high performance video processing systems are well respected within the broadcast video and home theater industries. My role was to recruit and lead a design team responsible for re-architecting and re-developing large boards full of FPGAs into a minimum number of ASICs. Some of the earliest high definition products (DVD, projector) used these ASICs and the team was awarded an Emmy for “Advances in HDTV format translation for broadcast video”. Revenue from these products grew from zero to >$25M during the time I was there.
