At CNB, I focus on evaluating and deploying economic development tools, programs, and incentives to catalyze the growth of a robust, regional economy.Through my economic development work at CNB, I have led the development of the Cherokee Nation's economic development strategic plan, managed and deployed New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) to create community investment, provided regional economic analysis and reports, developed business attraction and retention strategies, responded to development RFPs and inquiries, and worked with employers and communities large and small to promote growth and development in the regional economy.Special projects I have undertaken at CNB include a wide range of activities with an emphasis on troubleshooting and implementation in difficult projects including business continuity planning, renewable energy, grants management, infrastructure development, and policy analysis.

Tulsa, Oklahoma Area

I progressed to manage and direct the federally-funded workforce development system in the Tulsa region and staffed the Tulsa Area Workforce Investment Board. This multi-county, multi-site organization provides training, employability and skills development, labor exchange, and supportive services. During my tenure, I managed compliance, budgeting, and day-to-day operations, as well as special projects including grant writing, board development, and procurement.

Oklahoma

I was responsible for overseeing execution of fundraising events, donor relationship management, and cash flow management for a large US Senate campaign. I coordinated with outside counsel to address the campaign's legal needs, and worked to ensure compliance with contribution reporting regulations.

At Williams, I worked to develop metrics and reporting for long-haul transmission engineering, provided project management and research for the division director and vice president, and supported in-house software development for a small IT team through gathering requirements, testing, deployment, and training.
