I entered the Oil Industry at an early age, securing an apprenticeship with an Offshore Well Services Company. Training accomplished the Apprentice Service Engineer role led onto working offshore as part of the companies Coiled Tubing division; ultimately progressing to supervisory level.Driven by a want for new challenges and to broaden my knowledge base, I joined the team at Helix Well Ops as part of their Light Well Intervention Vessel – The Well Enhancer and its unveiling into the industry. With the role of Offshore Supervisor, my focus was to oversee subsea interventions from diving, wireline, pumping and coiled tubing, undoubtably growing and strengthening my experience of different service lines. Career progression lead me to project planning onshore, managing the engineering requirements of diving and well operations occurring onboard Well Ops UK and sub-contracted vessels. Dealing with a variety of complex and demanding projects bolstered my knowledge and skill base in variety of fields. Providing support to project engineers whilst supervising work scopes, client liaisons, business unit management of a semi-submersible and involvement in capex projects, are among the diverse requirements of my current Assistant Project Manager role.
