As a volunteer, I help people with mental disabilities or ones with mental illnesses find employment by helping them with resume writing, interview preparation and job searches.

As a volunteer for ACP, I am mentoring Veterans with their career progression and help them find a job. It is a gratifying involvement.

Endotronix, a VC funded startup provides a solution for heart patients with an implant in the pulmonary artery and a wireless reader to be used in patient’s home with Cloud based portal for physicians or hospitals to monitor trends in the pulmonary artery pressure. The solution reduces or eliminates hospitalization or doctor’s visits.Leading a team of 18 engineers and technicians, led the product development, participated in animal trials, prepared for verification and validation towards First in Human trials in Ireland. Product development included wireless reader with a Xilinx FPGA and sensitive low noise amplifiers, a docking station. Hired 13 people in building a strong team to support the fast paced development.

Responsible for managing HW and SW Engineering focusing on Embedded Systems. Industries covered: consumer products, industrial controls, communications and others.

PrincipalProvided engineering consulting services. Customers include mobile phone accessories, automotive, high volume appliance controls and high growth industries like LED Lighting. Developed an iPhone App for mobile phone accessories.

As head of PMO, established policy, guidelines, processes and metrics for efficient management of 30+ in-vehicle and handheld GPS products programs in U.S., France and Russia. Responsible for meeting budget, resource allocation and program objectives. Extensive interface with Original Design Manufacturers and Contract Manufacturers in Taiwan and China. Deployed a sophisticated software application named “Clarity” for program management.

Managed a diverse R&D and program management team spanning U.S., Germany, Mexico and China. Hired 12 engineers and technicians in building an engineering team from scratch. Led concurrent development of 8 cost sensitive, high volume, electronic appliance control products. Managed the HW, SW and mechanical engineering development in a matrix management environment. Won a $7 Million program award with targeted and intense business development effort.

Led the development and technical strategy of SAN (Storage Area Networking) products.
