Profile bio

About Andy Molnar

I started my career in a Pharmaceutical IT department. Yet I knew that there was more that could be done to help the patient. When I heard the idea of clinically validated software, I saw an opportunity to be a part of the future solutions in healthcare. My name is Andy Molnar. My vision: accessible healthcare for all. My mission: to lead the future of responsible, accessible healthcare by leveraging technology and connecting our industry. I am the CEO of the Digital Therapeutics Alliance. We are a non-profit organization committed to standardizing the responsible use of software to treat, manage, or prevent disease and disorder. Ours is a necessary focus to ensure the customer gets the right information in a sea of data-overload and confusion in healthcare. The number one thing we do is advocate standardization of healthcare software that is ethical and good for the patient. Since 2017 we have defined the Digital Therapeutics industry and educated global stakeholders (government, payers, providers, associations, and manufacturers) for the adoption of novel technologies to treat or prevent a disease or disorder. Our progress to date:• We helped the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) determine how to regulate digital therapeutic products.• We helped the American Medical Association (AMA) help doctors to determine how to get paid for these products. • We are helping the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) determine how to pay and code for the digital therapeutics’ products.• We work with patient and provider advocacy groups to ensure the digital therapeutics products are safe and effective.• We work with insurance companies and healthcare systems to standardize the review process of digital therapeutics. Our role is necessary in the evolution of digital healthcare products and solutions. We believe we all can evoke change and we can enjoy ourselves while we are doing it. If you are curious about digital therapeutics or in our stakeholder group, contact us.
