Greetings! My name is Andy, and I have a passion for utilizing technology in creative ways, building successful business relationships and teams, and playing an active role to challenge and better myself. During my study at UCR, I delved into the mysterious world of Geographic Information Systems as a research assistant where I learned how the visualization and interpretation of data is just as important as the data itself.I was a Quality Assurance Analyst at the medical device company, Abbott Vascular, where I created and maintained complaint records to ensure accurate and timely regulatory compliance. I developed custom reports and monitored daily metrics to improve future performance.As a Senior Billing Analyst at Calpine Solutions, I work with CCAs to ensure the accuracy of their customers' invoices in an efficient and timely manner. I improved outdated processes and managed the testing necessary to implement and support electricity rates that would then be billed to customers. I developed custom reports and templates in Excel and with SQL while playing an active role in the development of future offerings.In my free time, I enjoy learning about new technology, building PCs, playing a variety of games, and contributing to my local community's theater programs.
