Falkland Islands

Technical Officer covering all mechical systems on an operational Airbase (3,500 personnel). Responsibilities included Water Treatment Plant, steam laundry, power station, MTHW, Sewage Treatment Plant. Other duties included Co-ordinating Authorised Person Mechanical reaposible for ensuring all mechanical systems had Statutory inspections and were compliant. Project Manager for high level water tank replacement for entire air base CWS. Also oversaw the replacement of a new CWS Treatment Plant. Responsible for all long lead / high value mechanical components. Acted as military / civilian interface for all water and MTHW related issues including planned shutdowns and emergency continguency planning.

Based in UK but travelled extensively to Brunei, Nepal, Canada & Belize assisting will all major projects on the British Army Remote Overseas Stations (ROS). Implemented legionella policy across ROS and completed Asset Registers in Nepal & Brunei.

Co-ordination / delegation of 25 tradesmen covering requests from British Army Units across Germany. FM manager for all workshop work areas including specialist spray bays, carpenter, sign writing and welding workshops. Managed workshop in operational theatre.
