• Solution development (New/Existing Facilities)- Engagement with Program lead on Transportation requirements of internal client- Engagement with internal stakeholders and external service providers - Stakeholder management- Define Transportation scope of works (Ocean, Air, Trucking, Trade compliance, Origin Consolidation)- Conduct plant / site visit for socialization and data gathering so as to execute process audit, understand and map out As-Is process flow, challenges, issues and bottlenecks.- Collect key customer requirements (Internal customers)- Risk assessment through identification of specific problems, bottlenecks and associated assumptions- Design Transportation solutions - high level to-be process map, propose scope of services and organization structure, cost saving initiatives, quick wins solutions, cost model, vendor selection, RFQ negotiations (for 3PL services) and KPI metrics- Have done projects in Indonesia, Thailand and Australia• Project Implementation - Implement developed solution through detailed work instructions, new process flows and KPI development- Conduct trials with operations team to ensure solution works- Liaise with all necessary internal (HR, Accounts, Legal, Tax etc) and external (Customs office, Trade departments etc) entities to ensure all issues are solved- Work with Procurement to conduct RFQs to select external 3PLs identified in solution phase to provide service for our internal client- Work closely with Transportation Operations team to ensure all trials are successful and that all issues are ironed out before “go-live” operations.- Final hand over of solution to operations team- Have done projects in Indonesia, Thailand and Australia
