Data Quality, Master Data Management, And Data Integration Software Product Manager
I have lead the development 3 software products that help Target manage it's master data. My biggest product called 'Valor' gave the business team the ability to compose data quality rules, automatically extinguish poor quality data, and prevent the creation of future bad data. I led the creation of the Data Governance process that went along with this tool. We have had a ton of success with this. Check out the link below where GS1 wrote an article about it!The other product gave the various business teams at Target the ability to request master data maintenance. It also had a workflow component for teams performing this maintenance to be efficient and work in a controlled manner.Currently I am working on a data automation product that sourced data from 3rd parties and transforms it into trusted and reliable master data.

I helped develop strategies for Master Item Assortment Data Management by assessing critical processes that lead to permanent process improvements though establishing product category specific data strategies. I lead business rule gathering and implement data quality monitoring against those rules. I also create process to monitor, control, and visualize results for Target’s Merchandising Master Data and Enterprise Data Warehouse. Meanwhile I craft communication to make data understandable for people regardless of their background.
