iOS developer in charge of architecting the inner guts of our app. This includes responsibility for the network communication pieces, Core Data based data storage/retrieval pieces, viewcontroller logic & interaction with media capture and storage. In addition to the above frameworks, this project has given me the opportunity to become an expert in using XCode tools for debug, Auto-layout to create adaptive UIs, Google API tools & Open source tools to allow users to file bug reports with auto-attachment of files.Worked on a project that created an ad hoc network using Core Bluetooth/Multipeer connectivity frameworks in iOS and Android. Worked on various wireless technologies in a leading semiconductor company. Roles included - Becoming an expert in wireless standard specifications and customer RFEs- Use this expertise and work with hardware engineers and product management to identify and architect the key features of the chip- Software requirement specification & implementation- Work with QA to commercialize with major OEMs in handset and CE spaceWorked on WiFi/BT co-existence, mobile broadcast/multicast, WCDMA RRC, LTE L2-RRC-NAS and IMS.

Worked on research projects in the wireless networking area. Projects included a mixture of lower-layer (error correction coding) and high layer (optimizing TCP/IP performance over wireless) work. Work was done through combination of mathematical analysis, network simulations written in C/Matlab. Research was published in leading conferences like ICC and journals like IEEE JSAC.
