Safer Driver Solutions provides drivers education classes and driver training for new drivers. We service the eastern side of the State of Iowa. We tailor our classes to meet the needs of the students. Smaller classes results in more one-on-one instruction and better retention for the students.Our Driving for Exceptional Learners program is the directly aimed at providing driving instruction for teens and adults with learning disabilities, IEPs, ADD, ADHD and/or other co-morbidities such as Autism, Anxiety, ADHD etc.This program provides individualized instruction for each new driver. We start with a driving assessment and then determine how many hours of driving lessons are required to meet the proficiency standards to earn a driver’s license. We are currently working with organizations that work to provide opportunities to individuals who deserve the right to learn drive just like everyone else. The owner is a Driver Rehabilitation Specialist, with several years of education in driving instruction and safety education. All instructors are certified in classroom and/or behind-the-wheel instruction in the fundamentals of safe driving practices and skills. We provide driving lessons for traditional students ages 14 (14 in Iowa) and up who need assistance prior to taking drivers education classes or in preparation for a DOT Drive Test. This service is great for parents who are struggle with the stress of teaching their children or are too busy to provide the driving instruction themselves. Our regular course utilizes an online classroom and behind-the-wheel and allows the new driver a window of 30 - 90 days in length to complete both portions on the course. We strive to provide information in every class that teaches safety and responsibility behind-the-wheel for all drivers.
