My role entails the allocation of advanced driving and motor cycle tests to examiners covering an area from South Yorkshire down to Worcestershire, together with conducting advanced tests. I am responsible for trying to recruit new examiners and dealing with any complaints from candidates re the way their allocated examiner carried out the test. As part of my role, I am expected to attend Rospa Advanced Drivers and Riders (RoADAR) group meetings, in order that the members can be updated re any issues/ new initiatives, and enable me to respond to any concerns the groups may have.I am now train Ros Qual level 3 in advanced motorcycle instruction and also hold the RosQual level 4 in behavioral driver training, and work for the fleet side of RoSPA. I am also a member of the DVSA Enhanced Rider scheme. On the 1st September this year I took on role of Manager of RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders (RoADAR) after the old manager resign from her post. This is a part time position, but one at which I will give 100% support and effort to promote the good work that RoADAR are doing for road safety and driver/rider improvement.
