A graduate from Huddersfield and with a Master in HR from Curtin, I specialise in strategic HR leadership to align performance and to enhance the experience of others.I initially progressed in operational management before transferring to my HR specialisation in London Hotels before joining the BTA to lead progression in Recruitment; Development; and Academic progression. In Australia I have enjoyed the privilege of leading HR for Hyatt Hotels in Pacific.My professional focus is to implement strategic HR to achieve an equitable, safe, supportive and engaging community to encourage professional development in others; to make a difference through leadership; and provide innovative learning opportunities to retain talent and creatively evolve the business.I have developed solutions to progress Learning; Culture; Engagement; Benefits; Competencies; Policies; Recruitment; Systems; Productivity; Communications; and Performance Development. I am a licenced facilitator of leadership programmes including Situational Leadership and Leadership Insights.My achievements include: facilitating, coaching and supporting the professional development of others; implementing significant organisational change; reducing turnover; transitioning Hotels from and to Management contracts; opening new projects; establishing clustering and shared responsibilities; downsizing; Learning accreditation; forging education links; award changes and flexibilities; and successfully negotiating an Agreement across all Hotels to achieve unique flexibility arrangements to increase productivity whilst improving terms and conditions of employment.
