I led the technology teams who change & run our key GI Platforms:- Personal Lines Platforms- Claims - Guidewire Claims Centre - Commercial Lines - Guidewire Policy Centre - Payment integrations

Responsible for the change and run of the commercial online banking platform. Covering the customer facing web/app channels and channel agnostic APIs, which serves online banking and other RBS group online propositions. Including prototyping, beta and full production deliveries.

I headed up the RBS/Natwest Commercial Banking Digital Studio. I’m responsible for building and growing a sustainable scaled agile capability for the bank (Innovation, Development, Product, UX, Architecture, Test, Dev Ops, Portfolio Management)I’m was also Head of Delivery for the Studio(s), managing the re-platforming of the RBS/Natwest/Ulster commercial on-line banking platform, including the migration of all customers.

Full end to end Business and IT delivery responsibility for the day 1 launch of Zurich's D2C/Omni-channel business FutureYouwww.zurich.co.uk/futureyouDeliveries:-New customer portal including security and access management, tools, dashboard and secure mailbox. Using Sitecore CMS. - Datalake (big data) which integrated multiple back end policy systems data (including WRAP platform and legacy platforms) for consumption in the customer portal and CRM (Salesforce). - Salesforce Servicing and Marketing cloud CRM solution and the integrations to the portal and Datalake to provide a seamless 360 degree view of customer. -Managed full business readiness The project was delivered using Agile methodologies for example using Kanban (managed via Jira) for elaboration of requirements and design. -Following day 1 launch of the business I managed the successful delivery of the D2C WRAP product suite for the same business.

Managing the delivery of multiple projects across multiple clients (from niche stock brokerages to multinationals) on the Equiniti Xanite (formally Peter Evans) trading platform (front, middle and back office).

Managed the delivery of a new digital capability for Friends Life:- Phase 1 delivered a new website to support the April 2015 pension freedom changes and was very successful hitting 50k unique visitors in the first month compared to the industry benchmark of 10K. - Delivered and embedded operationally a webchat (LivePerson) capability for the first time within the organisation. - The website delivered digital access to a number of secure platforms (including Corporate and Retail WRAP) and access to a suite of E-Value modelling tools.- Implemented a new target operating model and BAU processes to support the delivery- Delivered 90+ unbiased SEO optimised videos, infographics and articles on retirement, as well as the open for business product proposition (ISAs, pensions). - The site was optimized for mobile, tablet and desktop using responsive technology. Built with a mobile first mentality. - Managed all aspects of business readiness, the implementation and live proving.- The site was delivered using Agile methodologies - Following delivery of phase 1 of the digital transformation the NWR programme was stopped following the take-over of Friends Life by Aviva.
