Having worked within the Learning, Development, Education and Skills arenas for nearly 25 years, this has included the inevitable mix of highs and lows experienced in most sectors. I have worked in “buy & build” environments, achieving unprecedented growth and success and I have also been parachuted in by Private Equity owners to turn around or close failing businesses. My work invariably involves working with multiple stakeholders, including business owners, Private Equity and banks, as well as advising UK government, Devolved Administrations and CBI on workforce development and learning policy.Every role/project has its own specific remit, but typically you will find me involved in:▲ Driving continuous improvement through people, processes and systems.▲ Leading and executing complex projects including building, fixing and selling businesses.▲ Simplifying systems, processes and frameworks, delivering outcomes which achieve high ROI.▲ Creating frameworks which deliver Grade 1 training provision across all quality measures.▲ Leading on the national engagement agenda, including change of curriculum and delivery.I also have the flexibility, determination and resilience to deal with serious commercial challenges.
