The North Carolina Motorsports Association and Foundation represents North Carolina’s multibillion-dollar motorsports industry. The Association represents a diverse client base with over 200 members and 20,000 sector employees, including professional teams, facilities, manufacturers and suppliers, marketing agencies, educational institutions, and government interests. Board members participate on committees, head up projects and contribute their expertise to fulfill the NCMA/NCMF mission of supporting and guiding the industry.

As Executive Director, I interacted with teams, tracks, manufacturers, suppliers, marketing firms, educational institutions and governmental agencies. I worked with with two separate boards of influential industry executives and business leaders on projects to benefit and promote the industry. I was elected to the board of directors in 2012 after my run as Executive Director. Hendrick Motorsports is an elite professional motorsports organization with multiple NASCAR teams – 250 wins, 16 championships. The organization employs 600 individuals with an annual operating budget over $100 million. • Designed and lead from inception, a 50-member human performance division responsible for nationwide, distinctive recruiting and team training, contracts, logistics, health and emotional support systems for elite athletes.• Crafted an innovative approach to pit-crew operations which shifted the industry paradigm, established a new culture and accepted methodology in top-level racing. • Generated a 50% decrease in process time, throughout a 40% reduction in team size.• Introduced a development track and career pathway for team-members, with requirements for elite performance, in high-stress, unforgiving environments.Significant expertise and experience in the following: o Leadership and team dynamics. o Communication and messaging for complex, systems. o Metrics based review and performance techniques. o Budget creation and management. o Logistics and facility operations.
