Andy is the 5th great-grandson of the founders of Mossy Creek, and 3rd great-grandson to Dr. Isham Peck and his wife Emma (Henderson) Peck. He is a devoted husband and father, military chaplain, family researcher, and author. He grew up as an Air Force brat, living in Germany and the southeastern and midwestern states of America. Andy has a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He is also an accomplished speaker and preacher, speaking at schools and churches throughout the country. He conducts presentations for elementary schools, universities, and historical societies. In 2022, he was the keynote speaker for both the East Tennessee Historical Society in Knoxville and the Appalachian Cultural Center at Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee. He has spoken to men's and women's groups, young adults, and served as the keynote for a city prayer breakfast in the St. Louis area. He has conducted book tours throughout East Tennessee, Western North Carolina, Georgia, and Louisiana, speaking for writers' groups, and libraries. He was the keynote speaker for a Valdosta, GA Book Club held at Valdosta Country Club. He has also appeared on Knoxville's "Living East Tennessee" television program. His favorite activities are spending time with his family, golfing, and whistling. He also performs the National Anthem on trumpet at military occasions, sporting events, and by special request. Andy is now scheduling book signings, podcasts, and speaking opportunities, subject to his availability.

Chaplain, Capt Thomas "Andy" Peck served as Chaplain at the 375th Air Mobility Wing, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. He was the unit chaplain for the 375 Operations Group, 567 Cyber Operations Group, A2 (Air Intelligence Squadron), and the 618 Air Operations Center. He supervised a Reserve Chaplain, oversaw the Protestant Faith Group program with a budget of $100K, and supported the Wing Chaplain in providing for the free exercise of religion and spiritual care of a combined Joint workforce of 13,000 personnel and 33 tenant units.

Chaplain, Capt Thomas "Andy" Peck served as Chaplain at the 377th Air Base Wing, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. He was the unit chaplain for the 58th Special Operations Wing, 377th Medical Group, 351st Special Warfare Training Squadron, and 705th CTS (Combat Training Squadron) supporting 3,000 military members. Previously, he served as chaplain for the Security Forces, Medical, and Maintenance Groups. While at Kirtland, he served as the Protestant Parish and Community Service Pastor, leading worship services and directing all Protestant Ministries. He also oversaw ministry to 500+ dorm residents & launched Kirtland's 3000+ sq ft Kirtland Gravity Airmen Ministry Center.

Associate Pastor - Missions, Community Ministries, and Contemporary Worship. Andy led 8 mission trips to Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico 🇲🇽 ; Nicaragua 🇳🇮, and Thailand (Chiang Mai & Bangkok). He launched the Contemporary Worship Service in a brand new multi-million dollar facility, and partnered with multiple organizations in Norman to create the Fresh Start for Norman Initiative. He led church wide weekly outreaches to hundreds of homes, and led Men’s Ministries for the church. Andy also led 60 church members to get certified as Southern Baptist Disaster Relief workers. Andy was certified as a Chaplain and Chainsaw team member. He responded to the May 20, 2013 Moore Tornado and served as a chaplain for the families who lost their children at Plaza Towers Elementary School. In the wake of the storm, he secured $10,000 for tornado victims and led multiple cleanup crews into the damaged areas.

As an IMA Chaplain attached to Tinker AFB, Andy conducted religious programs, rites & rituals; advised unit on religious accommodation issues; and responded to crisis situations. He counseled military, DoD civilians and dependents--provided pastoral care and served as duty and walk-in chaplain. He visited area hospitals, homes, dormitories, work centers, recreation locations and assigned units--supported exercises. He also fulfilled reserve training in chapel administrative/financial/mobility procedures--and performed additional duties as assigned. Andy backfilled as needed when Active Duty Chaplains were deployed, served as the 72 Security Forces Chaplain, led unit bible studies, and helped lead marriage retreats.Andy completed the Chaplain Candidate Program, completing Commissioned Officer Training, the Chaplain Candidate Course, the Chaplain Candidate Intensive Internship Program, then completing a 35 day internship at Tinker AFB, followed by a 4 year IMA tour at Tinker.

Andy led large groups on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights for a youth group of 30 young adults. He led community service projects with Veronica's Voice, an international mission food pantry, and also preached on Sunday mornings for the 200 member church.

Andy served as Case Manager at the City Union Mission Emergency Family Shelter. He met weekly with homeless families, training them in basic skills including budgeting, spiritual fitness, and job skills. He enrolled individuals and couples in substance abuse recovery programs, financial wellness programs, and helped them connect with local churches.

Andy launched the College Service for Grace Bible Church, helping grow the church from 400 to 600 in attendance. He led the college small groups, college retreats, and organized the college services each Sunday. He recruited a worship team that led each Sunday, and organized speakers to share testimonies. Andy also led the churches annual fellowship events including Mother's Day Ladies Events, Christmas Fellowships, and Summer Picnics. As Small Groups Pastor, Andy launched Life Groups at the church including Sunday morning and weekly small groups, started a brand new Young Professionals group, and acquired new curriculum for the churches religious education program.

Andy, representing 20 insurance companies, provided affordable Medicare supplement and life insurance to senior citizens throughout Missouri. As a commission only insurance representative, Andy built a client base from Kansas City to Hannibal, and from Sedalia to Marshall. Seniors appreciated Andy's integrity, compassion, and even the spiritual care and prayer that he provided for his clients.
