I have a wealth of experience supporting businesses in resolving complex employment issues through developing excellent working relationships. I have reputation for delivering pragmatic and commercially based solutions to my clients. I am confident in all aspects of generalist HR but with significant experience in business reorganisations, dispute resolution, long term sickness and rehabilitation, appraisals, and people development. I have worked with employment lawyers during my time at Plexus Law as a Senior HR Consultant and have a very good knowledge of current employment legislation. Previously I have HR experience within the financial services industry, where I provided HR advice during major change initiatives, including large scale redundancies (200+), headcount/succession planning and operational HR challenges. My responsibilities included HR management of 800 staff working from multiple locations and advising Regional Directors on local strategy. Although I undertake regular short term assignments, I feel that I offer most value through ongoing working partnerships as this enables me to understand the underlying business imperatives and ensure that my approach to people management is supportive to the business in the medium/long term. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and development, a qualified mediator in workplace disputes and a trained graduate competency assessor.
