I have been working at Integra in the medical device industry since 2001 on product development. My specialist field is electronic design. Since I have been with Integra I have been involved in the design of Tissue Ablation Systems (removal of tissue by ultrasonics), Intracranial pressure monitors and Cryosurgical Systems. I am also knowledgeable in regulatory issues relating to design, particularly IEC60601-1 for electrical safety (edition 2.0, 3.0 and 3.1) and IEC60601-1-2 EMC (2nd, 3rd and 4th editions).My employment locations have been Andover UK, Tullamore Ireland and Burlington MA, USA.I have also spent some time in China working with the Chinese FDA to obtain compliance on some of our medical devices.Prior to medical devices I worked for Biwater UK. I was working in their design department on data logging and leak detection equipment. My prior position held at Biwater was working in their service department performing component level fault finding.I AM CURRENTLY NOT SEEKING NEW EMPLOYMENT
