As an intern in HCA's internal audit department, I gained much valuable experience in the field of accounting, and knowledge that is very applicable to the classes I am currently taking in Tennessee Tech's Masters of Accountancy program. While interning, my responsibilities included conducting test work on multiple HCA hospitals' cash, fixed asset, and liability accounts. The professional experience had with HCA has already and will continue to prove very valuable to my educational experience and professional career.

My responsibilities as a games host at Dollywood included greeting guests and making them feel welcomed, explaining the rules of the game and encouraging the guest as they played, giving out and keeping track of correct amount of change and revenue made at my game, and providing any additional information about the park that a guest needed to know.

My responsibilities included mowing grass and maintenance of properties, landscaping as part of a crew, learning irrigation and occasionally leading an irrigation crew when building small systems.

My responsibilities included greeting customers as they returned from cutting down their Christmas tree, preparing, and securing the tree to their vehicle. Occasionally, if requested, I would go into the field with the customer to help them pick out a tree, and cut it down for them.
