Responsible for managing the construction of a wide range of schemes, from a £500,000 waste recycling centre to a £1.5 million new build highway project.Site Agent for the major construction division of this national construction company. Responsible for planning and managing site activities across numerous construction sites in the East Midlands, from operational resources to health and safety, monitoring progress and giving direction as required.Programming of works to ensure completion to agreed dates and securing agreements on income from clients, in order to meet turnover and profit targets.Arranged and allocated plant and materials for all sites to achieve cost targets and maintain and continuously improve efficiency to increase profit margins.

Spent three years on a graduate training scheme, moving between the roads design and bridge design teams, with the final year seconded to the L.C.C term maintenance contractor (LCR Highways Ltd).Boston Southern Link Road (£22 million) designing proposed routes and junctions using AUTOCAD and MOSS.Compiled the traffic regulation, side roads and compulsory purchase orders for the Foston Link Road.S278 new road and structure design for a proposed housing development. Represented L.C.C at numerous public exhibitions for the Boston Southern Link and Addlethorpe Bypasses.Resident Engineer on two sensitive town centre environmental improvement schemes and assistant resident engineer on Addlethorpe Bypass a £3.5 million scheme.Structures work including a number of up to £100,000 schemes involving the design and site supervision of bridge reconstructions from feasibility to completion.Design calculations for Stone Bridge, Grantham, a 12m span concrete beam structure.
