Working as part of the Strategy and Development team to shape, scale and deliver exciting new innovation projects finding new ways we can engage new supporters in the work of Cancer Research UK. As project manager I am responsible for the strategy and delivery of the project as well as gathering insight about the best ways to develop the concept and line managing a team of 5 Senior Executives. In May 2018, the team I manage was awarded the 'Be Sharp' award at CRUK's annual Fundraising and Marketing awards to recognise the way we gather insight to create compelling experiences that put our supporters at the heart of everything we do.

As Senior Local Fundraising Manager I maintained a small but significant portfolio of supporters that I worked with to support them with raising funds to help us beat cancer sooner. Additionally I supported the South West regional team with their work to help them overcome challenges and make the most of opportunities to maximize income across a range of income streams. I also supported and deputized for the regional manager where appropriate.

As local fundraising manager my role was to support and work with volunteer fundraisers, companies and organisations across Somerset and W.Dorset. Alongside this I also served as the SW region's regional corporate champion to gather corporate fundraising best practice centrally and support the region in this income stream.

Responsible for the delivery and development of Fundraising and Communications Planning for the Conquest Centre. I led the fundraising team and was responsible for income generation, supporter care and the charity's communications.

Responsible for account managing groups, branches and fundraising volunteers across the South West and South Wales. I also put together the regional business plan and budget.

Community Fundraising and expanding and developing fundraising in the Taunton area.
