I set up Turkish Property People Ltd initially as an agency selling holiday homes to British buyers on Turkey's Mediterranean coast. Rapid expansion during the ensuing years saw the company grow to a point where we had 6 branded offices along the Turkish Coast and a specialist division in Istanbul focused on sourcing land and commercial re-development deals in and around the city centre.The UK financial crash coincided with a change in law in Turkey that made it difficult for foreigners to own property during those years and the business closed in 2008.
