By Light provides world class virtual reality based training solutions that increase proficiency while lowering customer costs.Leadership and Skills• Lead software architect and developer of the Hardware API to the Army's new Reconfigurable Virtual Collective Trainer (RVCT) platform.• Lead software architect and developer of the SimCore GT (Game Technology) simulation engine along with numerous products and tools utilizing the engine.• Technical lead and software developer on many other simulation and training systems based on commercial platforms including Unity3D, Havok Vision, Bohemia Interactive Simulations, Presagis, and VT MÄK.• Project lead on numerous large scale simulation and training systems in addition to coordinating R&D efforts, prototypes, and tools for content developers and software engineers.• Developer of military and non-military training products incorporating virtual reality interfaces, large-scale displays, haptic interfaces, hardware/software integration, simulation of vehicle systems and the training environment, student performance monitoring and scoring, graphical user interfaces, and content tools.• Cross departmental liaison for product proposals, requirements, estimates, technical direction, planning, prototyping, development, and testing• Extensive experience working in an Agile development environment using tools such as Jira, Perforce, Code Collaborator, Jenkins, and Cruise Control (CI)
