I head up TradeWinds' commercial activities for the UK market, helping companies reach and influence decision makers in Ship owning, operating, management and service industries, through online, print and content advertising.I also hold responsibility for the commercial development of our online products working with our Business Development team and developers. Responsible for Advertsing Sales for the monthly B2B publication Logistics Manager. My client base was made up of international 3rd party logistics companies, vehicle manufacturers, plus storage and handling equipment manufacturers and suppliers.

My role was to lead the team selling electronic maritime data products to an international client base of shipowners/operators, insurers, brokers, yards, equipment suppliers, and ports. The main part of the job was a field sales role, but i was also involved with the design, testing and implementation of the Sea-Web online database product. The last six months of the role was with the newly formed LR Fairplay company based in Redhill.Prior to my time selling maritime data, i ran the team responsible for editing Lloyds Register's company information in all data and print information products.
